“Clean and fresh, the rooms were well appointed and maintained. It is a newer property but still an excellent experience over all. Staff was helpful and polite, breakfast was the usual hotel fare, but decent.”

“A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. “The booking photos are deceiving as it was very old, poor linens, stale smell. Hair on the linens, on the floor, sink and shower, other peoples hair everywhere! I paid the bill as I had too and left. It had a very bad energy and vibe. Like bad things happen in these seedy places. Never again will I hope a deal works out. Pay the extra. Not a healthy place.
