“Some beautiful furnishings throughout. Some areas a bit tired and in need of refurbishment. Staff were all excellent. Breakfast was good but felt dinner prices a bit excessive for what was served. We had a beautiful newly refurbished bathroom ( bedroom not ) so here’s hoping improvements are going on throughout the hotel. We would recommend and we will return.”

“Stayed here on a visit to Wigtown in late August 2026. Communication was great with multiple emails confirming reservation and instructions. Although there are no staff of duty the instructions on how to get the key were timely and detailed and we had no problems at all getting in and checking out, and we arrived late.
