Catirga Konak Apartments is a very beautiful renovated and well maintained property. It is modern but with beautiful traditional Turkish charm. The property is also very clean. It's perfectly located in a busy and vibrant area that is just a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist sites on the European side (Grand Bazaar/Hagia Sofia/Blue Mosque).

The apartments themselves are beautifully converted, and very well-situated between Sultanahmet and the Bazaar district. Everything was very comfortable, and both the owner and Mrs Gul (who looks after things on the ground) extremely helpful. The kitchen is pretty basic, but sufficient to cooking simple meals (and there are some nice places to eat locally). We had a wonderful stay, and are already planning a return visit...

친구집에 놀러 온듯한 편안한 집이에요. 모든게 갖추어져 있고 침대도 매우 편안합니다. 온수도 잘 나오고 수압과 배수도 너무 잘 되요. 호스트는 매우 친절하며 답장도 빠릅니다. 와이파이도 빨라요. 관광지 역시 도보로 걸어 다닐 수 있어요. 발코니에서 아침을 맞이하는 기쁨을 가져보세요. 동내 사람들과 인사도 나누고 이웃 동내 같은 편안함을 느낄 수 있어요. 체크아웃도 매우 심플합니다. 적극 추천 합니다. 이스탄불에서 가장 행복감을 주는 장소에요.

Все очень понравилось,в квартире много места,отдыхали с двумя детьми. Жили на 2 этаже. Балкона нет,но чудесное окно в прекрасным видом на истинный Стамбул,погрузились полностью в ежедневную жизнь людей,живущих там. Все чисто. Чай,кофе. Готовили завтрак сами. Все удобно. Розетки есть,полотенца чистые,всего хватало. Очень хорошая большая кровать 2м на 2 м. Абсолютная тишина по вечерам и ночам. Высыпались!Очень рекомендую эти Апартаменты. Это дом с 3 апартаментами. Есть этаж на земле,2(где жили мы) и 3 этаж с балконом. После бронирования со мной по Вотсап связался хозяин Елхан и я выяснила,на каком этаже будем жить.

I loved the wood panelling and the general decor. The old building was full of character and at the same time well-tended and modernised. The only minor quibble that I have is that the kitchen could have a few more items: enough plates and glasses and cutlery for four people, and especially a clean dishtowel and dishrag. Altogether, though, a very pleasant experience and I would recommend it highly! Thank you!

Amazing experience to stay here

Centrally located. Walked to most of the historical destinations (Sultahahmet Cami, basilica cistern, Ayasofia, and even grand bazaar). A very new apartment, great size, well furnished and comfortable. Wooden floor and ceiling makes an excellent atmosphere. Ottoman style divan was cozy to drink tea and watch the street. Highly recommended for an authentic experience in the heart of the city!

The apartment is absolutely the same as it is on the pictures. IIhan was a very helpful host and ready to recommend all the best places in the city. Location is perfect - 10 minute walk to Sultanahmet and all the major points of interest. We loved observing the dynamic life here. We are planning to come back next year, so it will definitely be IIhan’s place again for our next stay. Thank you IIhan! It was a wonderful vacation.

Ilhan did a perfect renovation on his building. Everything is as advertised, there is everything you could need for cooking, washing dishes and clothes, etc. The location itself is a bit off the beaten path, yet perfect for walking to major tourist sites. Ilhan is a great communicator and very helpful. Mrs Gul who let us in does not speak much English but is very helpful and lovely. Would definitely book again on another trip to Istanbul.

We had a great time, the place is lovely, clean and central. The bed was very comfortable and bedroom was very silent. The bathroom is spacious and there is everything you need in the kitchen such as refrigerator, dishwasher …..etc The area is central, the street that the building is located has few stairs and no cars are allowed during day time. I would recommend transportation offered by the owner for the arrival which made our life lot easier.

L'appartement est bien mais l'accès à la batisse ne se fait qu'à pieds par une rue en escaliers, ce qui n'est pas très pratique avec les bagages. La rue est relativement sale.
