"I stayed there for the second time. I like it because it is quiet in the garden rooms. I don't even need earplugs to sleep. It's away from downtown so no honking or street noise. I went to the front desk to ask for taxis and they always showed up in a few minutes. It's July 2026 and the bar is under construction but a smaller bar is open by the beach. It was more fun because even though there is less seating you end up socializing with everyone there."

"Pros: impeccable property with alert friendly staff, excellent restaurant, safe due to the entrance gate and staff being present at the beach entrance, consistent waves and isolated beach due to it being at the end of jaco beach, great clean pools, really nice balcony. Cons: difficult to get to as you have to suddenly brake and drive into a short driveway before the staff opens a gate, the hotel is on a treacherous steep curve that was a source of very loud truck engine breaking 24 hours a day, you need to have a car to get anywhere as it’s too far to walk, beds were hard."

"We loved this place as our home base! Very safe, private, secure, clean, and great customer service. Alejandro the waiter is the best!! Learned our names the first night and made us feel so welcome. Anytime he saw us, in the parking lot or walking to our room, he would yell out a name and greet us and ask how our day went. He made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Venting a room here is a steal!!!"
