  • Young Red Colobus Monkey. Day trips to Jozani are very straight forward. In Stone Town, tours can be booked at the old fort. November is storm season, but it is also Spring here, so there are lots of young creatures around. You have to take a local guide from the Forest information centre and you get walked through the forest. This is not a bad thing, as there are a load of side paths and no signage, so I think getting lost would be pretty straight forward. The other good thing about a network of guides on the ground, is that they find the monkeys easily, meaning you get to spend more time with them, rather than looking for them.

Nice little hotel directly on the beach.

Quaint little hotel located on the beach at the south end of Jambiani. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is served each morning with a selection of fruit followed by a choice of eggs and pancakes. The restaurant isn’t really geared up for much else and doesn’t open in the evening, but there are a nice choice of restaurants in both directions along the beach. Only critism would be that staff aren’t particularly well trained on hospitality and customer service aside of what seemed to be ‘the manager’ Jocher who was very helpful, but obviously not always available.

When we first checked in, there was urine on the toilet seat that we had to clean ourselves because the staff said it ws only «calsium build up» from when they clean. The electricity cut off 2 times in 3 days (not the hotells fault). The breakfast was very mid with alot of insects, bees and cats around you.

Some photos do not correspond to reality., Also, when I booked the hotel, there was information that there would be shampoo, but there wasn’t any, plus there was no Wi-Fi in the room, although the description stated that there would be free Wi-Fi, but there was Wi-Fi only at the reception.

The hotel staff was superior. After having a terrible time finding the place in the evening, tired from a long day we got here and our room was not what we thought we were getting nor was it ready. Weird as they knew we were coming but did Not seem ready for us. After ordering diner we ate, felt better and finally got a proper room. Hard evening. However next day was perfect. From morning breakfast we went for a walk on the beach, swam in the pool! Breakfast was perfect and really good. Good in general is superior. The owner really took special care of us and we even got super late check out! A wonderful ending to our trip. I would come again and stay longer. Felt so at home it was embarrassing. Thought we were taking too much space! Very grateful for my Tanzanian brothers taking such good care of my family and o. Plus points: daughter and wife loved it! Very relaxing! Will come again

So firstly let me tell you , our original hotel cancelled on us last minute and I’m the type of girl who researches everything so I was in a bit of a panic but chose Jambiani white sands bungalows! What an amazing little boutique hotel! I was not disappointed from the moment of arrival we were made to feel very welcome. If your looking for a five star all inclusive then this is not your place. Instead this is a small hotel directly on the beach where you can really experience Zanzibar with the locals with amazing staff and service. Our room was upgraded to a beach view and waking up every morning to the view of the beach and ocean was spectacular. Room was comfortable, with a very comfy bed and shower room and balcony. The room also had a fan and AC which was much needed at night! The staff in particular Aziza and the chef Jacob are absolutely amazing who made sure we had all we needed, cooking us some amazing meals and also some meals that were not on the menu which we asked for! These two really made our holiday amazing and this is one of the reasons I would come back and I wouldn’t usually go to a destination twice! The beach what can I say about the beach it’s absolutely stunning with the tide coming in and out a few times a day and sometimes it’s so shallow you can walk waist deep for miles. There is lots of sellers on the beach and massage ladies and also boat boys who will offer you a sail for a really good price and even snorkel or swim.

Zimmer war sauber, peronal und Strandblick gut. Frühstück war einfach aber gut.. Was gar nicht ging, trotzdem geschrieb dass die Ankunft spät erfolgt, war niemand an der der Rezeption. Bei Expdia hinterlegte Nummer hat keiner geantwortet. Erst die Security konnte dann helfen, was im Regen nicht einfach war. Die Bungalows hatten zwei Tage kein Wasser und wir mussten das zimmer in eine kategorie drunter wechseln, da dort alles funktionierte. War aber trotzdem eine gute Zeit.

Photos trompeuses: ça tombe en ruine

Chambre degeulasse à l’arrivée, pleine de toiles d’araignées et d’araignées, pas de filet pour les insectes. Lit horrible, chambre sale, 2 pouces d’épais de crasse sur le dessus de l’air climatisé, literie tachée. Vu les nombreuses araignées dans la chambre j’ai demandé à changer de chambre, on m’a répondu que pour avoir une chambre propre j’allais devoir payer plus cher. J’ai donc payé un supplément pour une chambre nettoyée convenablement…cette chambre là était en bien meilleur état. Par contre, Aucun service, le personnel n’est d’aucune aide. Ils s’en foutent complètement. Hôtel n’est pas du tout représentatif des photos, ça tombe en ruine. Les heures prévues pour le petit déjeuner ne sont pas respectées (on nous a dit 7h à 9h mais toujours servi en retard entre 7:30 et 7:45..à prévoir si vous avez une excursion de prévue!) le wifi ne fonctionne pas dans les chambres, seulement dans le lobby. Aucune bouteille d’eau de fournies dans les chambres, il faut payer pour des bouteilles d’eau. Aucun shampoing juste du savon de fourni. État général de l’hôtel laisse à désirer comparer aux photos de l’annonce. Mais le pire vraiment, c’est le service qui a été horrible sur toute la ligne.

A l'arrivée, 2 chambres de réservées, une chambre correcte et une autre de dimensions trop petites où il est impossible de mettre une valise, non conforme à la réservation. Hôtel dans un état de vieillissement et vétuste (tuyauteries rouillées, salle de bains très sale, électricité en très mauvais état, poignée de porte moisie, robinetteries inutilisables, etc, etc....) Hôtel à ne pas recommander et personnel sans aide pour les clients.

Il ,est inadmissible de laisser une empreinte de carte bleue à la réservation pour un paiement sur place et ensuite, obligation de régler en cash car terminal de paiement en soi-disant non fonctionnement. Pas de banque à proximité, une galère pour régler, réglement en euros, hôtel à éviter ou à régler à la réservation et avec option remboursable. Direction pas honnête, très décu.

A due passi dalla spiaggia, i bungalow offrono tutto il necessario per un soggiorno all’insegna del comfort e della tranquillità. La nostra camera si affacciava proprio sulla spiaggia potendo così godere di una vista meravigliosa a tutte le ore del giorno. Personale attento, cordiale e sempre disponibile. Cucina della struttura ottima e a buon prezzo. Colazione ricca e variegata, non mancano mai frutta fresca e succhi appena spremuti (ogni mattina un gusto differente tra l’altro). Tutto perfetto, bravissimi ragazzi! Hakuna Matata 😃

Unsere Reise begann leider mit einer Flugverspätung, sodass wir die Befürchtung hatten, nachts nicht mehr einchecken zu können. Allerdings wurde an der Rezeption auf uns gewartet, worüber wir uns sehr freuten. Die Zimmer sind mit den nötigsten Dingen ausgestattet. Die Möbel könnten ein Update gebrauchen und es fehlte ein zweiter Stuhl und ein Tisch auf dem Balkon. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Lage direkt am Strand, war wirklich sehr schön war. Wer noch besonders hervorzuheben ist, ist Adam - er erfüllte uns unsere Wünsche beim Frühstück und war immer sehr hilfsbereit. Leider wurden meiner Freundin 200 Euro geklaut. Wir wollen niemanden direkt beschuldigen, aber ein Safe im Zimmer könnte sowas verhindern.

Notre séjour a été super. Jambiani est magnifique le personnel de l’hôtel est adorable et à répondu à toutes nos demandes. La chambre est très belle ( nous avions un bungalow vu plage ) le petit déjeuner était copieux et très bon il y a du choix. N’ayant pas loué de voiture sur place l’hôtel nous a trouvé des taxis à chaque fois ( qui sont d’ailleurs très ponctuels ) je recommande vivement !
