โWe loved our stay at Le Mentok resort. Stayed there for 4 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. It is an ideal property if one is looking for a relaxing experience away from the hustle and bustle of the town and main markets. We had no problems getting around to see other places whenever we wanted to by simply booking a taxi. The resort is well maintained and the staff is very helpful. โNorbu the hotel GM was excellent. He personally made sure that the stay was comfortable and any of our needs were addressed. In fact, while embarrassing to state in a review, we ran out of cash and he lent us Rs. 5000/= going out of the way. That was a very trusting gesture on his part. Norbu also helped us get the visitor permit from the local DMโs office which helped us move forward with our trip. โI really enjoyed both my stays at The Pal. It's a very nice property, well-kept, a convenient short walk from the main market. The stroll down the street never got old.
The room was tidy. The shower was plenty refreshing after an 8-day trek. Breakfast was good.
The staff was especially friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my time at The Pal and look forward to staying again next time I visit wonderful Leh. โ
