Great location for exploring Jeonju. We had thought a restaurant was onsite but were disappointed to find out it was closed and there was nowhere close to get food. Rooms were great and we could walk into Jeonju along the river.

Amazing. Unique Hanok Hotel. Better than any other Hanok stay in Korea, seoul. The Restaurant in the hotel provides tasty and healthy Korean food with reasonable price. for me, the quality is better than 5 star hotel in seoul.

Visited with parents during Christmas break. An absolute gem — we loved every small detail in the rooms and play areas, since it was really well decorated with Korean traditional hints everywhere. Also loved the breakfast options they provided us, the food was so good!!! I really want to visit again. Thank you staff for providing such a welcoming experience.

For one night, my family of four stayed at the hotel. We opted for two rooms, each equipped with two twin beds. The room size was ideal, and the layout of the bathroom and washroom was well-designed for two people. Everything was impeccably clean and comfortable.

It is an authentic, charming hotel, but as such, lacks some of the luxuries and conveniences of more modern hotels. It’s a balance and really depends on what experience you are wanting (i.e. traditional or comfortable).

Disappointed

Overall, the hotel has a unique traditional floor plan, but it receives a poor grade for its lack of consideration for guests traveling from abroad. The parking area is far from the rooms and there are many obstacles when trying to carry luggage—steps with no ramp, for example. If you have heavy luggage, be prepared for some serious exercise to carry it to your room. The uneven tiles with grass growing between them make it extremely difficult to move luggage. The worst part is that the bathroom in our room had a strong smoking odor that triggered my allergic reaction whenever we used it for more than a few minutes (we're allergic to cigarette smoke). There was a clear no-smoking sign, but it smelled so strongly as if someone had been smoking near our room. It seemed like there was poor management in enforcing the no-smoking policy. If you're a non-smoker and don’t appreciate smoke odors in your room, stay away from this hotel, as there's a good chance you'll have a similar unpleasant experience.
