Wow. What a lovely spot. Hard to imagine there could be a better place to stay in Kaikōura. A perfect location walkable to lots of shopping, dining, and the beach and with gorgeous views from the rooms and the outdoor spaces on the property. Room was very clean, well equipped and spacious. Breakfast was included and was generous and tasty. Hostess had helpful suggestions for our stay. Highly recommend.

This is an absolutely excellent property in every way possible. From the immaculate room to pristine property, not to forget the short bread cookies :-). The views are spectacular from the second floor units. Simply marvelous.

Beautiful property with a lovely yard and spectacular views!. Room and property very clean and hostess is wonderful and most helpful. She even dropped what she was doing and gave us a ride to the train station when our taxi failed to show up. Breakfast high quality. It is a bit of a walk to get to restaurants--we enjoyed the stroll, but it could be a problem if one is mobility challenged and there without a car. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Kaikoura.

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The accommodations and property were impeccable and the view of the bay - breathtaking. Julie met us when we arrived and made us feel welcome and comfortable. from the start. Breakfast in the morning in the dining room was delicious with fresh juice, coffee and breakfast croissants made to order. I did not want to leave. 10 stars!

Just loved our stay at Bendamere. Julie is a fantastic host. Superb communication. The shower is so good especially after finishing the Kaikoura cycle trial (thoroughly recommend). Very comfortable bed and finishing touches like the home made shortbread were appreciated. Stylist decor. However the best part of this stay is the scene, waking up to a beautiful sunrise ( keep the curtains open) or sitting on the balcony enjoying the bay and sea waves. Very quiet considering how close to the road this property is. Thoroughly recommend staying here
