  • I took this photo in Messinia, Greece in summer 2016. It's of Voidokilia Beach and it's surroundings. Voidokilia Beach is on the Peloponnese peninsula and it was the most picturesque beach that I visited during that Greek trip, which was almost exclusively in Messinia. On that mountain is Nestor's Cave and above this are the ruins of a 13th-century Frankish castle (Old Navarino or Palaiokastro). Look closely and you will see :). I didn't get to walk up there. It was brutally hot that day and I spent most of the time at the beach. But, I did make time for some hiking. Near where I took this photo there was a lot of medieval or ancient ruins. Near those beautiful rocks. I had to be careful when walking on them, but it was worth it!

Zeer net hotel, zeer ruime studio met voldoende kastruimte en groot terras. Airco goedwerkend en stil. Elke dag verse handdoeken en bed opgemaakt . Goed gepoetst ook. Super vriendelijk personeel! Ze doen alles voor de gasten! Ontbijt eerder basic.

Great hotel, but ceiling too low

Got room on the top floor, ceiling was very low. Once i moved away from the middle of the room I had to be careful not to bump my head.

Geräumiges Zimmer mit kompletter Küchenausstattung. Sehr nettes, fleißiges und hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstück bei sonnigem Wetter mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft am Pool oder auf der Terrasse war sehr lecker. Entfernungen zum Ortskern mit Supermarkt ca 400 m, etwa genauso zum Strand an der hübschen Strandstraße mit vielen Tavernen und Restaurants und kleinen Lädchen. Der Surferbeach liegt etwas weiter westlich, aber auch nur ca. 400 m Fußweg vom Hotel entfernt. Parkplatz kostenfrei (wie fast überall in in GR), WLAN im Hotel sehr gut. Fazit: Ein Hotel wo man gerne wieder hinfährt.

Μείναμε ευχαριστημένοι σε όλα (φαγητό ,καθαριότητα,εξυπηρέτηση) .Λεπτομέρεια αρνητικού σχολείου τα παρατημένα, πανέμορφα συντριβάνια στις προσοψεις του κτιρίου και ότι όταν καθάριζαν τα δωμάτια έβλεπες παρατημένα σεντόνια στη ρεσεψιόν.Θα ξαναπήγαινα.

Hotel proche du centre du village

Vacances en famille. Hotel étape bien situé entre Methoni et Koroni. Pas de kitchenette dans toutes les chambres (pas dans la notre en tout cas malgré ce qui était mentionné dans le descriptif de la réservation). Nous avons pu en revanche bénéficier du petit déjeuner.

Our second time here. We love it! Spotlessly clean large room lovely bathroom. Now does food in evenings ...excellent idea. Only slight problem why have loud music round the pool in the evenings? We just need the qietness of the evening.

Clean modern hotel, close to lovely beaches.

Arrival was very simple and friendly , room was very spacious and clean. Just a short 10 minute walk to an exquisite beachfront with good variety of bars and restaurants. Breakfasts were plain but good quality, very little variation though.

Nice hotel walking distance to the beach/shops

From the minute you walk into this hotel, your feel very welcomed. The staff is incredible and caters to your every need. The rooms are very spacious and the beds comfortable (they even have king sized beds which are very difficult to find in Europe). The bathrooms are a good size and modern. The terrace is big and offers good views. I cannot emphasize how clean this hotel is, along with the pool area. You will not be disappointed with this hotel along with your stay in beautiful Finikounta.

Excellent hotel highly recommended home fro home

Amazing find. Great room that was spacious with a full cooker and huge fridge freezer Clean towels every day and clean sheets every other day. Lovely balcony and free air conditioning. A walk on shower with lots if hot water at all times of the day. Hotel kept spotless at all times and the staff were very attentive ' friendly and always tjete if you needed them This was a home from home. By far the best hotel I have stayed in Greece. We will be BACK!!!

Huge room, with a beautiful pool.

Our room was equiped with a kitchen, two terraces, two tvs, a king size bed, and a double sofa bed, etc. Everything seems to be new and in great condition. It was clean. It's ideal for a family with kids. The pool was nice and big, and my kids loved the way it lights up in the night. This hotel is not too far from Methoni, but you definitely need a car to move around from it. Staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel has wifi, that works ok, and a gym with a treadmill (but keep in mind that they don't have a fan in that room), my husband said that it was super hot in there. I recommend this hotel for families with kids.

Great value in a beautiful setting

A great hotel south of Methone. Quiet and relaxing. Close to some of the best beaches on the Greek mainland. Reception was very friendly. Typical Greek breakfast. Definitely great value for the price!

Πολυ ωραία διαμονή
