"Had an event in town and this was the most affordable option. Was pleasantly surprised. Normal hotel wear and tear, but excellent location and good price. Will likely stay here for future events."

10/10 Excellent
"Enjoyed this hotel it was clean and was exactly what we expected. Area was very urban "
"Best stay in a hotel ever for myself and my fiance. Only complaint is the day shift front desk woman was not friendly, no greeting or welcome and looked like she did not want to be there, on her cellphone most of the time. Overnight gentleman was very helpful and much nicer. Overall a wonderful stay"
"Comfy bed, and our king size bed room was huuuuuge!!! It has a mini fridge and microwave AND kitchen cupboard space. Our room had not one, but two desks! The big downfall is that the room does not have blackout curtains or privacy curtains (We were on the 4th floor, but still...) so the flood light shone in our room. For breakfast, the choices were fantastic! The eggs and the waffle were delicious! I wish I had a chance to enjoy the pool and hot tub. Maybe next time!"
"I recently stayed at the historic Upjohn House Bed and Breakfast in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo, and it was a truly memorable experience. This beautifully restored mansion is decorated with charming period details that give it an elegant, old-world atmosphere while still offering modern comforts.
I stayed for two nights and loved how easy it was to walk to all the shops, restaurants, and attractions downtown. I also attended a concert at Miller Auditorium, which was conveniently located less than two miles away.
The house itself was quiet and relaxing especially since I had it all to myself during my Sunday-Monday stay. I enjoyed a fantastic room with a very firm and comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The room also had a smart TV with a Roku device, which made it easy to log into my favorite streaming apps like Netflix and YouTube.
One highlight of the stay was the clean and inviting hot tub, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. The whole place felt homey, peaceful, and well cared for. Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique and comfortable stay in Kalamazoo!"
"I do not like the way the daytime desk clerk talks to guests, me included. What he doesn’t realize is when he belittles another employee to one of the guests, he is bringing the entire team down. It seems as though he is the only “bad seed”"
