"This motel was nice and clean.. Check-in and check out were seamless. It is false advertising for the breakfast and the Egyptian cotton bedding lol..but I wasn't expecting much. The "breakfast" is Little Debbie snack ckes but the coffee is delicious. I would definitely stay here again."

The one thing l love about Kalkaska is that the town remains absolutely low key, which a plus when coming up from the City of Detroit

Very rural. No close by shopping for forgotten items. Not very many dining options in the vicinity.

Not far to traverse city, Sleeping Bear, ate at Trout Town- excellent meal. Fish on Fridays was amazing.
