My daughter likes the water playground in the Riverside Park opposite the hotel. So we purposely changed from another hotel to Sandman for the convenience of going the park. There are also lots of nice restaurants and one ice cream shop nearby. I will say it's a wonderful choice staying with Sandman when travel with young kids.

Newer hotel with a pretty nice location. Moxies and Shark Club attached and have room service. Rooms need a thorough deep clean, and it might be time to get rid of the jacuzzi suites its actually pretty gross. Hot tub in the pool area is also being repaired currently and that was the one thing I would've used. Overall a good experience otherwise

I want to say Michaela was great to deal with. She was super busy because of fire evacuees but kept smiling and very pleasant. I hope the sandman knows what an exceptional staff member they have. Even though the railway runs right there the noise was not that bad. Heard it once or twice but overall was fine.

This hotel is in an awesome location. We stayed here two years ago and it was okay. Currently, the rooms are in desperate need of repair. It did not feel clean or comfortable. We won’t be back.

I got a room last minute and it was nice that it had a bedroom and a separate area for a living room with bathroom. For a longer stay I think it would have been great. It took a long time to check in and there was two people there and the second guy ignored me until 10 min and then I said can I check in please and he then he helped me because the other person was taking too long. And the room was clean but it was a bit run down for being built after 2010. There are alot of hotels to choose from.

Hotel is a great place for a stop over. It does get quite noisy when the train goes past as it’s right outside the hotel. We went to moxies for dinner which was surprisingly busy for a Thursday at 6pm, we couldn’t get a table inside so I would recommend booking if you plan on eating here. Hot tub was under construction when we were here which was a shame. Check in staff were a delight, the lady who checked us in was so happy and friendly.
