The host and owner Marcus (it's a family run hotel) was wonderful and went out of his way to help, answer questions, accommodate, and make sure his guests are happy. Siya hotel is also in an excellent location, 3min from the beach, but off the loud hustle and bustle of the shoreline, which was perfect for me!

Super helpful and knowledgeable host, with excellent advice on local hikes/places to eat; great location in a lovely mellow seaside town (despite a day of unusually high winds!)

We had a lovely spacious, spotless room with a balcony. The host Markos was so welcoming and his team kept our room pristine during our stay. The hotel is set a little way back from the sea front which made it peaceful in the evenings and parking was super easy.

We had a wonderful stay at Syia Hotel. Markos and Dimitra, the owners/managers, could have not been sweeter and helpful. We travel to Sougia frequently and have stayed elsewhere in the area and this is by FAR the best in town. We look forward to our return!

Lovely hotel with kindest family

Only negative for me is the colonisation of a lot of the beaches in Western Crete by nudists. Here also.

Also immer vollbetankt nach SYIA (Sougia) fahren.
