“Wir haben hier 3 Nächte verbracht aufgrund der Nähe zum Addo Park. Die Unterkunft selbst ist toll, das Personal sehr bemüht. Wir sind sehr früh abgereist aufgrund des Fluges und uns wurde ein schönes Frühstückspaket vorbereitet. Es ist ausreichend Platz vorhanden, eine landestypische Unterkunft, die dennoch die „Vorstellungen“ eines Europäers erfüllt. Die Unterkunft ist jedoch ca 1 std mit dem Auto von Port Elizabeth entfernt und man muss kurz hinter PE durch ein recht unsicher wirkendes Gebiet...

“On short notice they had every in order to welcome me, great second floor room with a nice small balcony, wonderful aesthetic and professional and reliable service from our kind hosts, great fresh breakfast every single morning and met every adjustment or accommodation necessary. Felt safe and not crowded, great of a getaway for a couple, with the beach at a walkable short distance. ”

“It was unfortunate that the hotel was undergoing renovations and replacing plumbing was part of it. And water coming out of the bath tub was brown and contend grains of sand and metal, so taking a bath was out of the question. ”

“We had a fantastic 3 days at Addo River-View Lodge. Our hostess, Leanne, was fabulous and very helpful and informative. The proximity of the location to Addo Elephant Park was ideal and we booked a guided full day tour there. We also enjoyed a sunset boat trip on the Sundays River and climbed the sand dunes. The local restaurant, Taste of Africa, was excellent and less than a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended.”
