"Stunning breakfast "

"Hotel Santa Barbara was very conveniently located just across the road from Freedom Square in the old town. Staff were incredibly helpful especially on reception where they booked taxis for me and loaned me the phone to deal with a flight problem. Thank you. Beds and pillows were super comfortable so we had some great sleeps. Internally the hotel was very quiet though we had some screeching from seagulls outside. I think small improvements could be made to breakfast which wouldn't cost much: some granola would be number one on the list. Overall we loved this hotel and would return."

"We had an amazing stay at Nunne Boutique Hotel. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The sauna area is also spotlessly clean and very peaceful. I really recommend this hotel!"

"Very new and clean. No check in desk. You’re emailed an access code that needs to be used throughout the building. Make sure to check your email for the code. That was the only snafu to an otherwise great property. Right next to a grocery store. "

"We spent three nights at the hotel. Our room was bright, clean and comfortable. It was very good that you can close the windows and sleep in complete darkness. The room has good soundproofing. It was cleaned every day. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent. A lot of different food from cereals with milk to sausages and various salads. The hotel owners support Ukraine,at the beginning of the war in Ukraine they gave shelter to thousands of Ukrainians. Thank you for that. I will recommend the hotel to my friends"

"I had never stayed at a Citybox hotel and was a bit dubious about self check-in and other sort of “do it yourself” aspects. In fact, when we arrived to check-in, I realized I didn’t have my check-in code. I must have deleted that email from Citybox. However, the staff were extremely helpful and retrieved my code and we were up and running. At the check-in kiosk, I was able to pay by tapping my card, and the kiosk dispensed my card keys without a glitch. That evening, I noticed that the room was quite warm (almost 25 degrees), so I “complained” to a staff member who took a device to the room to check the temp at ghe AC vent and it checked out to be 20 degrees at the register, but she acknowledged that the room was warm. She thought that maybe the AC hadn’t had time to cool the room yet. She told me to let the staff know if the room was still too warm when we returned from dinner. Well, it wasn’t, but we decided to tough it out for that evening. The next morning I told staff member that the room was still too warm. She went to the room with me and confirmed that the AC wasn’t working correctly. She assigned a different room right away. Because we had switched rooms, the attached restaurant where we were to have the “hotel” breakfast got signals crossed and had instructions to provide only one breakfast, so again a staff member walked to the breakfast venue with me to straighten it out. On both occasions, the staff members were friendly, helpful, and professional."
