“Our shepherd hut in Pinewood was spotlessly clean and refreshed every day. Staff were always on hand if needed and really helpful at checkin (the process for checking in and out was seamless). Marshmallows, skewers, logs for the indoor and outdoor wood burners, and upmarket tea bags all complimentary; only let down by basic Nescafé coffee sachets and pots of UHT milk. “It was a good experience and cam clos to the real thing abroad. We are a bit spoilt having stayed in some superb lodges in South Africa and Botswana but the "safari" experience staying in the Aspinall Foundation Port Lympne parki was reasonably close to what you would find in Africa.
