“The lodge was very clean and tidy. The owner and security made me feel very welcome and safe and nothing was to much to ask. The property has a hike up the ridge behind for great views. You could if you wanted to hike to mountain sanctuary its about 2 hours there and another 2 hours back. It was well located just off a main road. Giraffe, Zebra all came onto property to feed on the land which was quite exciting.”

“Woodlands Gardens is located near Magaliesberg. The accomodation was clean and well looked after. The common areas i.e. the pool was very nice. The owners have very friendly dogs and our dogs were welcomed and enjoyed it very much. Locates close to many hiking areas and restaurants. The owners are friendly and have good communication with guests. A little on the priciers side for what you are getting but still a great weekend away.”

“Enjoyed the break. So Nice and quiet. The birds were the loudest noise. Staff were friendly and helpfull. Watch out for Google Maps sending you to dilapidated Kawa Manzi guest house. I would recommend to all friends and family. I would also recommend the big toe test. Lie on the main bed and measure how fast the trees grow using your big toe a measuring stick. Be Careful not to nod off while doing this apparently it happen a lot. Robbin and Jackie”

“My wife and I would like to praise several members of staff: Itumeleng from Room Service - what a nice and efficient man! Then Maddeleine, Betty, Josephine and Beauty from the Main Restaurant, where we had our 3 breakfasts and 1 dinner The Palace is an incredibly beautiful place - we just admired the decorations (African annimals as statues at the front as well as inside, floor mosaics, the structure of the Palace you see on arrival and on the passage from the lobby to bedrooms”
