"Basic motel style but no twin rooms, the price at the place was 600baht for a single and 1200 for a double so we asked to change to 2 singles, which caused mayhem and we kept being put on the phone to someone who spoke English but still said we’d have to pay extra, eventually the lady took us to a suitable room but no top sheets and the bedcover was filthy. The shower was great though and bathroom clean, no bedside lights."

Really liked the style/decor of the hotel, guess one would call it 60s/70s resort chic - kept expecting Don Draper from Mad Men to come walking through the lobby. "Absolutely amazing! My wife and I stayed at “Above the Clouds” on our honeymoon and it was awesome. The view from our room was breathtaking, literally above the clouds with gorgeous scenery. Fon and her husband also made our stay more memorable with their sweet personalities and generosity. They actually made us feel like we were at home. They serve breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. Fon’s mom does all the cooking, and uses fresh ingredients grown on her farm, which makes it even more special. Highly recommend this place! You will have a blast and be pampered"
