"Incredibly beautiful castle, grounds and room. Highly advise a castle bedroom if you can! Very clean, comfortable and huge. Biggest drawback was limited dining options during the week-same menu for lunch and dinner that gets boring pretty fast. Breakfast was tasty and lots of options all included. Close to Dublin- we didn’t have a car but 45 minutes by train and then 10 minute taxi made it easy (except book taxi ahead as Athy is pretty small). Worthwhile for the luxury to stay in a castle!"

"Fully cooked breakfast on offer with good options as well as a continental breakfast. Staff were very hospitable, and good restaurants in the Charters Bar. The hotel is also linked to the Kelly’s Steakhouse over the street which I would recommend. "

"This is a great hotel in many ways- location, room size and decor, bathroom and it is quiet. There are no annoying little lights overhead for smoke alarms and the red tv light is hidden in the cabinet. Only 2 issues to make for an EXCELLENT review- there was no body/ hand lotion and the wifi was very very patchy. Otherwise, a great visit. "
