"The hotel is partnered with the world’s most unprofessional shuttle company, Monarch. We paid $50 for access to the shuttle to downtown Nashville. It’s only a 15 minute drive and the shuttle either doesn’t show up at all or is inexplicably late. The night driver, Mark, is a con artist and obviously not doing the job he’s being paid to do. The hotel staff are aware of the problem and just told us to request a chargeback since the shuttle company doesn’t offer any accountability. The outdoor pool is under construction and you’ll be woken up by the sound of jackhammers. The hotel is very clean and the staff were very friendly, but I cannot recommend this experience to anyone. "

"Very rude, unhelpful front desk staff. Our room didn’t have a remote control for the television. I called the front desk twice to ask for a remote to be told “we’ll get one right up.” Never received. When I asked the front desk about it in the morning at checkout, I was told it was probably just wrapped up in the made bed from housekeeping. It wasn’t. Of course I checked there. And I only stayed one night so the front desk’s response would seem to imply the bedding wasn’t changed out before my stay."

"My room was never cleaned or restocked and the elevator on my side of the property was out of order. The room was $250 more than last year and $600 more if you waited last minute to find a room. The construction almost killed the vibe. The beds and pillows were a struggle since they were hard and painful.The breakfast was just okay and typical. For me the location was great, we were walking distance to Broadway and to the park for the event we were attending. Overall, I still love this property."

"I love the self check in and self guided experience! Each room has a balcony and the location is ideal! This is my 3rd time staying here within the last 3 weeks and the price is always affordable. The rooms are modern and clean, and I look forward to having friends and family experience The Soundry as guests as my partner and I relocate to Nashville this summer. "
