The hotel staff at the Days Inn Wilbur, Kill Devil Hills, we're great and very personable. The hotel room suite and amenities were spot on. The breakfast options changed daily. Location to the beach was with in walking distance, weather over the dunes or 2 property's over at the public access and lifeguard and rescue building. Thank you for helping make our stay more enjoyable.

Great beach access right out the back of the building! Convenient to restaurants, shops, and the main road to other attractions. A “compact room” is very small - we had to be creative with storing our bigger items (cooler, beach chairs, etc) while leaving some in the car. It was inconvenient at times, but we ultimately chose the room because of the price and the location. Direct access to the beach was our main consideration and it did not disappoint! We would stay here again but probably in a larger room.

Clean property and central location. Good amenities/outside shower, breakfast, and parking. The staff was wonderful. I only wish there was a beach view (dune views only). The walk to the beach/over the dune may be tough for elderly or people with accessibility needs. Otherwise, very nice, would stay again.

Room was clean, view was fantastic and loved how close it was to the beach. I was disappointed with the grill, I chose this property based on the fact I could cook meals there and the grill had a hole in it and looked like it had been used as an ashtray for a few years, it was disgusting. other than that it was a very good experience.

Definitely my favorite place to stay here. The staff is all friendly and caring. They had a water outage when I was here this time, and they were kind enough to move me to one of the cottages they rent out next-door. I've always been happy staying here, and will definitely come back again.
