“Hotel is in a great location and has good facilities but it looking a little tired in places notably around the pool and spa area. Breakfast was good but some of the cooked items could have been better. I booked a double double room for our family night away. Checked in and was given room 111 which was an unpleasant dark and cramped accessible room, windows were covered in frosted glass so you could not see out as it overlooked a utility courtyard. “What an amazing place. Very quaint building. Was made to feel like we were at home the moment we walked in. Steve is an amazing manager and made us smile and laugh as soon as we walked in. The breakfast in the morning is small but perfect for the setting. The return guests we met are all wonderful and see why they keep coming back ”
