"The room was nicer than expected. It was also quiet, a surprise given the number of solo working men in residence. Not sure what happened to the free WiFi and breakfast that were advertised. And some strange woman stood outside my room and yelled “Tamales, tamales, tamales” for ten minutes at about 8:30 p.m. Other than that, the place was comfortable, spacious and quiet. "

Most of the staff working here were nice, however one was rude to my wife when she asked for extra towels for the pool, and also threatened to charge money if we lost our room keys. The neighborhood is a little rough but there is a nice diner in front of the motel. The manager is a really great guy. we were there to hike Pinnacles and also visit Mission Soledad. room was great! Great grounds activities and hikes nearby. Lunch was good at the inn restaurant drinks and key lime pie was fantastic. 10/10 will stay again. Love that this inn is family owned, you can fill it in the care they take in their guest. "
