This room was simply amazing. Modern, yet welcoming. We had our own private courtyard with lovely views. Communication with them was spot on and the check-in was a breeze. When we get back to Kinsale, this will again be our place to stay!

My Kind of Place!

It is located in downtown Kinsale, so everything is within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable, lots of pillows. A small thing, but important - the body wash etc bottles in the shower are in large print for those of us with glasses. The room had a nice fragrance and was very clean and organized. It is convenient to Old Head Golf Course - my reason for staying.

Right in the middle of Kinsale but without the noise and crowds you would expect. The managers were helpful and proactive a lot time of check in. Fantastic coffee with an easy Nespresso machine plus refrigerator, spa-like towels, lots of outlets and a fan. Never met the owner/manager but spoke several times over the phone and felt we’ll taken care of

The Glen Quarter Kinsale is a very modern studio accommodation in the old part of Kinsale, very close to everything. The staff were great to talk to and told of great places to visit around the town.

Amenities were amazing in our teeny room. Fridge, ironing board, drinking water, coffee machine with water already in it and beautiful bedding and bath. Also a small fan for white noise. I booked this on Expedia and the photo showed a spacious room at the Glen Quarter. Our room was a tiny but well appointed space with no room to open two suitcases unless on the bed. Hotel office was right outside our room door and sound travels. I do not know if it is the property supplying only one photo to represent all of the rooms but to me this seems wrong. This has happened more than once on the same trip that my Expedia booked room was not the one shown to me in the photo. Not impressed.

Excellent hotel in heart of Kinsale

Beautiful room in the heart of Kinsale. Within walking distance of everything. The rooms appear to have been recently renovated/updated. All furnishings and fixtures are in excellent condition. The room was very clean. The bathroom was wonderful with an extra large shower. I wish all hotels were like this one. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

Location excellent - very central. Only downside to this is it is a little noisy if you have a room at the front but it wouldn’t put me off staying here. Staff friendly. Well equipped room - Iron, ironing board, hair dryer, tea/coffee facilities, fridge, safe, fan, heater. Very comfy bed, good bathroom facilities and internet connection was fine. My only real criticism was that the room was extremely hot (stayed in July). A fan is provided but it was still hot. I should think that this is only a problem for a very short period of the year bearing in mind the usual Irish weather! I would stay here again.

Very nice Boutique Hotel. Well appointed with plentiful amenities, good sized rooms and comfortable beds. Upscale bed linens and thick towels. Staff was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for local dining, parking and even helped get our luggage up the stairs to the second floor. I would definitely stay there again.

This was perfect for our one night stay. The only negative I have to say is I wish we had a place to put our bags when open, but that’s no big deal. The staff was kind. Easy check in and out. Perfect area to walk to the shops. We had a great time.

Loved it

We had a great one night stay at the glen quarter. The room is small but very well designed and sparkling clean. Centrally located in the heart of kinsale. Since we came off season we parked right behind the building. Two doors down from a perfect breakfast spot with delicious cappuccino. Highly recommend for a short stay. Keep in mind that parking could be a challenge during the peak season.

Wow and Epic doesn’t explain how awesome!

The Glen Quarter is EPIC! It’s centrally located, super easy and comfortable to walk everywhere. The room was spacious, super clean and well cared for. The staff was great at communicating and assisting us with a later than intended check in (the adventures of Ireland). I’d highly recommend this as a true destination spot and epic destination.

Room was too small- no room for luggage. Bathroom didn’t have a plug. Unable to adjust temp in room. Toilet paper rack fell off wall. Fitted sheet was old and rough to sleep on. Location was good. The room looked nice and modern but not comfortable for 2 people for 2 nights.

A surprising bit of luxury in a small guest house. We stayed at the Glen Quarter for one night at the start of a coastal tour, but now I kind of wish we'd booked two nights instead. Our stay fell on a Tuesday night in the off season, so I feel like we barely sampled the charms of Kinsale and now I want to come back for a longer stand (this happens A LOT in Ireland... Charming smaller towns feel so welcoming and familiar, but are eclipsed by the glamorous bigger cities). But back to the Glen Quarter... Where we found a patient host awaiting our arrival to get us settled in modest-sized but wonderfully appointed room on the first floor. Everything you touch, from the furnishings to the soft mattress to the thick oversized towels, has a luxurious feel, and the new, modern bathroom is gold-standard in design. It's a lovely room and we had a great night of sleep. I'm just sorry we're moving on today.
