"I'd like to know what privileged lives people are leading, when they say the area around the hotel isn't safe. Munich is a big, multicultural city and the people in the area reflect that, but we never once felt unsafe, even when arriving back to the train station at 10pm with my 5-year old in tow. The convenience to the train station cannot be overstated - it's SO easily accessible which made day trips to Salzburg and Neuschwanstein a breeze. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure is *strong*, and they held our bags at the end of our stay for free. Honestly, I have very few negative things to say about our stay. Yes, the indoor pool is cold - but I'm inclined to think that's on purpose, for you to enjoy after the sauna (which we didn't use). Yes, we paid a nominal fee to check in early at 10am. But there was air conditioning AND an electric tea kettle in our room, so you won't find me complaining. All in all, this was an excellent value for the location, quality, and amenities. "

"Clean and quaint hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful upon checking in. Only complaint was no A/C adjustments available in room so it was sweltering. Was told by front desk they would have to call in a maintenance request to adjust. Since stayed only 1 night, did not request service but also did not sleep well...due to the heat. Will stay at this hotel again but will be mindful of this issue and bring a portable fan."

"This is the second time we have stayed with this hotel. Even though our room faced the train station, it was very quiet. Directions—with your back to the tracks, go out side exit to the street and cross. Hotel is to your right. It is convenient to a laundromat. Turn left out of the hotel and left at the corner. It is maybe one block straight ahead. You can do your own laundry or leave your clothes in the morning and pickup later in the day. The Lufthansa airport bus is two minutes down the street (right out of the hotel. "
