Slow check in.
Changed room on first night.
Second day there was no water.
Did not inform that water was shut down. Called 3 times and was connected to engineering- who did not give any info.
Finally had to go to the reservation desk and wait in the line at around 6 am . They offered to change the room.
Had to change room again .
Not one apology from management or compensation.
Did not even offer water to clean.

A disappointing stay at the empire. Whilst the location is great, not much else lives up to the images online. Our room was tired with cracked paint in all areas and a strong smell of fish. Our blind was broken and although we advised front desk of this on day 1, no one repaired it, so we had no natural light in the room for our entire stay. The rooftop pool bears no relation to the pictures on the website and is little more than a large bath. Chambermaids and door staff were friendly, but reception staff were cold, unhelpful and quite rude. Poor value all round

We would recommend this hotel for it's convenient location to most major attractions. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. There was a variety of restaurants and food options and endless shops. Access to transportation was easy..The space was clean, comfortable with friendly, helpful staff.
