"Close to bus stop on Hatton-Avissawella road. Faded glory, but very pleasant dining area, lobby and lawn overlooking river in which you can swim- but carefully as in the middle it flows fast. Non AC rooms are large with effective fan. Lots of whitewater rafting in area. You are in lowland so can be very warm."

"The hosts are amazing. We felt right at home at this lovely hotel. The family did their outmost best to make our stay comfortable. The owner namal is very helpful in arranging anything you need such as transportation or tours for very reasonable prices. "This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. She even called the staff in to prepare a delicious dinner for us, including an amazing spread of fried rice fit for a feast. The staff then helped drive our tuk-tuk up to the property and prepared an incredible breakfast for us the next morning. The service was exceptional, and the views from our room overlooking the water were breathtaking. I highly recommend staying here!"
