"I had a wonderful stay at Park Hyatt Zanzibar overall — the service, rooms, location in Stone Town, and breakfast were all excellent and met the Park Hyatt standard. However, the beach/oceanfront experience was very disappointing. I specifically paid extra for an oceanfront room, expecting serene views, but instead the shoreline is dominated by ugly docked boats and ferry traffic, which completely takes away from the view and atmosphere. The beach area itself offers little to nothing in terms of relaxation or beauty. It’s a great hotel, but if you’re booking for an oceanfront or beach experience, manage your expectations — it’s not what the upgrade suggests."

"Anlage war sehr sauber und gepflegt, wie auch die Zimmer. Personal immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Strand wurde abgesteckt für Hotelbesucher und Einheimische. Spa Angebot war gut. Essen immer abwechslungsreich. Pizzeria und Rossini gegen Selberbezahlung. Tax pro Pers/ Tag 10 Doller "

"Food was great - with the full-board option it was probably the highest quality “all-inclusive” experience we had. Beach, pool, and water sports were all great. The resort itself is nice but still feels African which is why we booked it originally. "

"Initially we had some issues with our villa and with the condition of its balcony, which was due for refurbishment as the neighbouring villa was being worked on - so it wasn’t a great start, however the staff were attentive and sorted us out by relocating us a brand new private villa which in one word was WOW! Everything else was excellent and would most certainly recommend."

"Fantastic stay and lovely hotel. Still some building works ongoing but didn’t really impact our stay too much. Great entertainment in evening and food was good. Animation team day activities could be improved as never really tell you what’s on and where and most of the time the activities never even happen despite seeing loads of animation team around the hotel."
