"In such high altitude, with the vanishing winter and melting snow, there are really a lot to explore in oberhof. The stay at the hotel was excellent and authentic. The breakfast has many variations everyday, the fruits and vegetables were really very fresh. The staffs were well behaved and have showed good hospitality. At minimum better beds than two separate ones for parents + sofa bed for the kids. The parent’s bed had some weird hospital like rubber cover under the linen, making a very uncomfortable sleep. "I was quite pleased with my stay here. It was perfect and economical for my purposes. The staff person was quite nice and helpful, and while the front is not open all the time, it's easy to get in and out. It isn't a town that is open all hours, so don't expect to eat late at night, but it's definitely charming and the hotel was a part of that!"
