"Notre séjour était bien. La chambre était très petite mais propre. Il y avait un bon buffet pour le déjeuner le matin. La localisation était bien pour accéder à Skye si vous avez une voiture mais prévoir 1h au moins chaque matin. Nous n’avons pas vraiment croisé le personnel de l’hôtel sauf lors du déjeuner. Je recommande pour un court séjour juste pour aller dormir après une longue journée. Un peu cher pour la qualité de l’hébergement."

"The first thing I will say is I did not know we had booked a room with a shared bathroom. It didn’t say anything about this in the room details so I would say this was surprising and then you’re sharing with at least 3 rooms. When we arrived the host told me quite abruptly that I had parked in 2 spaces. The other guest had parked poorly and made it impossible to fit 2 cars in so I feel they should have spoken to that guest instead of having a grievance with us. The host is accommodating with dogs in allowing his garden space to be used and by providing poo bags, but they also expect your dog to be put into your car whilst you eat breakfast. They did allow us to leave the dog in our room on the 2nd day but only due to the fact the dog set off the car alarm several times whilst we tried to eat. The breakfast times are regimental and controlled as well - 8 until 8.15 to enter and that’s it. Never experienced such a controlled short time window to eat breakfast. I read so many comments about a great breakfast there but I found the bacon to be soggy and the sausages barely cooked. I have rated the place well in terms of what they’ve asked me on here but if there was a rating for hospitality then I would rate low. The guest should not be so controlled like this when trying to relax."

"This hotel is nice and close to the water front, so an easy walk to see it. Aside from the view across the lake, there's not a great deal to see though. There is hotel parking round the side (up a hill that leaves you level with the second floor on which the rooms reside). The hotel also has a bar and restaurant. Seating can be a little hit and miss in the bar as a lot of the seats are in the sun. The rest get snapped up very quickly. The bedroom itself was compact but functional but was also rather hot and no air con nor fan to help with that. We closed the very good blackout curtains in the day while out and had the windows open at night. However, it was also not possible to open the window much, so it took a long time to cool down. It was, however, cool enough to sleep OK a bit later. Breakfast was excellent and for once they even had herbal tea. We also ate dinner there which was also good. Aside from the hot room, it was a very good stay."
