“Beautiful property. Well maintained. Appreciated the nature walk and yoga sessions. The thermal pool was great. However very poor value for money. The Sri Lankan food was bland and the food left much to be desired for. Although the food was well presented the flavours were lacking. No menus options, very limited juice options, most things are chargeable. Nothing was really offered. Staff responded to requests but had to ask for everything. Was disappointed. ”

“We stayed at Simpson’s one week, and what a week. Staff very very kind and service minded. Facilities excellent in the middle of an area with amazing nature and great wildlife. Food excellent. We had the pleasure to make local food with one of the chefs and travel to knuckles mountains, explore the tea plantage and may other exiting adventures. “The staff were great, really helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay even better than expected. The views were amazing and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was great, lots of food and the local menu was delicious. The road leading up to the hotel is pretty rough and our driver struggled in his little car.
