Vacation home by the sea

Great location by the sea. If you want sandy beach, you got it. Own pool, great staff. Unfortunately the buildings are in need of repair.

Firstly readers should note that the Resort has recently had a change of ownership, so past comments should be read with caution. The resort (like the whole island) was very quiet but Value For Money. However it should be Noted that there is limited Car Parking and the road to it is narrow with sharp bends. But is situated in an ideal area near shops, Bars, massage parlours and Restaurants (Buffalo Bills is Highly Recommended). Two negatives (which I’m sure in time will be rectified) are the Rooms are serviced every other day, but Bottled water and Coffee are delivered daily, meaning soiled toilet paper, food waste etc remain in the bin for two days. Also there are no advertised operating times for the Restaurant and Bar, meaning that when we returned at 21:00 for a nightcap the Bar had closed because it was quiet. I cannot blame them for closing, but there was no advanced warning this may happen. All said and done it was a very pleasant stay and would happily return as we were treated very well.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Perfect location at White Sand Beach, great breakfast included in our price. The bathroom was in bad shape, but overall the room was ok. Since we were mostly at the beach it didn’t matter.

Disappointing.

Disappointing. When booking the site said parking was available and sadly there was only room for a few cars. We had to park on the street. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was basic but good. Check-in was quick, however, there was no one in reception when we left so we just left the keys at the counter. In furure I would look for a better hotel.

On arrival we had to hunt for a person to check us in. The first impression was walking into a dirty office with a two feet high pile of dirty laundry. Room was ok very hard bed. Breakfast was not wonderful. The staff away not very friendly. Cleaning your room was two water and a roll of toilet paper. Room was never cleaned. Place needs some TLC.

Great midrange choice

We like mid-range hotels. Our first impression of this place was disappointing, but we soon warmed up to it. The staff were so nice, the location was excellent, the beach was 20 steps from our room, the food at the restaurant was sooooo good (except instant coffee at breakfast) and it was not on the main street so it was very quiet. The resort is a bit run down but we soon found that most of the resorts are. The pandemic has been hard on them all. A few things that we didn’t like (mostly first world problems): the room is so basic there’s not even a chair inside, no extras like hair conditioner or hair dryer, and no safe (so we used the lockers in the office). These are all things we could live with. The one thing that we really didn’t like is all the clutter and junk on the property. There are piles of old nets, broken chairs, rusty freezers and general clutter piled around. It really takes away from the quaintness of the property. For the price it’s a good stay. The pool was nice, the rooms were very clean, the restaurant was very simple but the cook was amazing (honestly had our best Thai dishes here), we could sit on beach chairs all day and not have to pay (but we did have to fight for shade in the afternoon). The sunsets were awesome and there were lots of choices for food or drinks within a short walk (either on the beach or on the street). Some resorts were by noisy bars but this place was so quiet…except for the sound of the surf.

Die Unterkunft (Umgebung, Zimmer) ist renovationsbedürftig. Bei der Ankunft (Reception) sind gute Nerven gefragt, überall liegt Wäsche rum und ist an Unordnung nicht zu überbieten. Das entspricht der Einstellung der Managerin/Inhaberin die an "Höflichkeit und Gastfreundlichkeit" nur so strotzt. Gewöhnungsbedürftig sind die die Hunde der Inhaberin. Der Pool ist bei 3 gleichzeitig schwimmenden bereits überlastet. Wirklich positiv ist die Lage.

Bra läge

Ett slitet hotell med bra läge direkt på stranden. Rummet var väldigt spartanskt inrett och saknade trivselfaktor. Sängen i hårdaste laget. Frukosten kunde varit bättre. Vi åt aldrig lunch eller middag på hotelrrstaurangen då det fanns många och mer välbesökta alternativ nära. Men man får vad man betalar för, så vill man ha charm och komfort får man välja ett dyrare alternativ.

オーシャンフロントの部屋がお手頃な値段で泊まれた。　部屋もキレイ。ただしこのホテルはビーチに面しているが温暖化の影響なのか満潮時にはホテル前のビーチは消えてしまう。でも1分歩けば隣りのビーチに行って日光浴できるので本質的に問題ではない。レストランもビーチ沿いに多くあるので困らない。

Die Unterkunft hat uns nicht gefallen. Das Zimmer ging einigermaßen. War aber recht praktisch und einfach eingerichtet. Der Strand war quasi nicht vorhanden da lange Ebbe. Weiter hoch war er dann schöner. Frühstück hat uns nicht geschmeckt. Haben immer auswärts einen Cappuccino getrunken. Alles in allem, wir würden nicht mehr buchen.

Hårda sängar dålig frukost

Bra område med mycket restauranger och shopping. Fin strand om det inte blåser för då tar vågorna över hela stranden. Mysigt poolområde. Frukosten var dålig, ingen buffe, ingen frukt och grönsaker. Sängarna var stenhårda och de har inga extra madrasser. Sängarna är det som gör att vi inte åker tillbaka
