I have taken note of your feedback regarding the hotel in need of renovation. Indeed, it does and we have carried out a structural assessment of the entire hotel. Renovation plans are in the pipeline and we hope to commence sometime in July. We will be revamping our guest rooms and bathrooms on priority, keeping its original grandeur intact. We will use this opportunity to address the ingress of moisture and air into the hotel which unfortunately is not in our control due to the present age of the building and adds to the mustiness in the guest rooms, particularly in the monsoon months. As you would know, The Oberoi Grand is a 125 year old hotel and has been through much transformation and restoration over the decades whilst keeping its heritage grandeur intact. Having said that, I admit the hotel is in need of renovation and we have recently carried out a structural assessment of the entire hotel. We are working closely with a structural engineer and a heritage architect who are assisting us and we hope to commence renovation of our guest rooms and bathrooms in April.
