Although it was hot in early September, there are fireplaces for when the Pelion cools in the winter. An enjoyable out of the way stay."

"Had a great time at Afissos Blu Hotel. The location is perfect, right by the sea. Just down the street are a number of tavernas and shops. The little village is quiet and picturesque, ideal for a relaxing vacation. The highlight of our stay was our host. She was extremely helpful and accommodating! "Although the property is a little dated it's very clean and the staff is amazingly accommodating. The views from the pool and breakfast area are quite lovely. Please note that the hotel has stairs and not one level. There is not an elevator available. Inspect your room and make sure the shower and the AC work. The staff will make it right you just have to ask them. Nice place."
