Don’t be fooled by the pictures, looks are deceiving. Room was a total wreck, it was full of crawly animals, there was no air ventilation, grey wall was turning white. Everything i said is just an understatement of what i felt when entering the room. Toilet was a mess, brown water & toilet lid was broken and left on the floor. I’m so sad to experience it the way i did. I had to rebook another hotel immediately. Stayed only for 10 minutes and it was gawd awful. You definitely can do better than this

You get what you pay for. Stay-able place. Above average. Just ask from front desk what you need. Great location to go any place. Good food around. Remember to explore.

Horrible Hotel That Released Room We Paid For

I don't usually write bad reviews but this hotel released my booking (which was paid in full) made through hotels.com. We had booked a family room with 2 Queen Beds to celebrate New Year's Eve together with our 3 young kids. The staff were nice enough to offer 2 separate Queen rooms but we wanted to be together. We ended up in a room with 3 bunk beds, which is not exactly the most comfortable considering that the young kids could not sleep on the upper bunk and wanted my husband and I to sleep next to them (i.e. 1 adult and 1 child squeezed on a single bed). Most horrible way to spend New's Year's Eve all because of an incompetent and inept hotel that does not honor bookings/payments.

Good but tax issue?

Enjoyed my stay overall but on the second day the receptionist approached me outside while i was going back to my room. He told me I owed 30 MYR in government taxes. I said okay, went back to my room and checked my email to see the breakdown of what we paid for the hotel - my memory didn’t fail me and it said “taxes included” in payment in the breakdown. Went down to tell them this and they told me oh those are different taxes - i proceeded to ask them what taxes they were but they could not give me an answer. I told them i’m not paying unless they could eventually give me an answer. At the end of the trip I ended up not paying taxes at checkout... just a little sketchy to me.

value for money, comfortable stay

Hotel is really easy to locate, opposite major shopping mall, The Spring. It has several eateries in the vicinity as well. Hotel was pleasantly comfortable for the price paid. Check in was easy and smooth, staff was helpful. Bed and pillow were comfortable and soft as well, which is what i preferred. I think the staircase that leads to the room is not small at all. I would love to stay here again next time!

Good location, enjoyable stay

Stayed in the superior room - basic, decent and clean - for 3 pax! Bathroom is a bit small but all works out. They have a cozy common/lounge area on the second floor to chill. Location is good, a short walk to The Spring Shopping Mall and a few local food spots around. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

very Disappointed

It is more or less like lodging house.. cannot be in hotel category. First, using staircase to go to first floor and all shoes must be taken off and left at staircase shoes shelves. the shoes shelve is not enough to put all the customer"s shoes. It is old building with narrow staircase to the first floor.. Middle of first floor has common area with boiled water and cups. Once i entered the room, i saw see thru curtain which has no blind or window shade. when i went down to look for the counter staff, the counter door is closed and unable to change room. The room has no free bottled drinking water. The shower water is very weak and the toilet is very small. While i slept on bed, i saw bright street light just outside the window. It is too bright to sleep. Just imagine in the morning at 630am, when the sun has come out, the whole room is very bright..and indeed difficult to continue sleeping again. The bed is comfortable and the aircon is good. From the website, you rated them 3 star... It is totally misleading ..Please review again... I would not go back..
