โThe Rabbit Hole is a funky, niche hotel near the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. In the area you either get "lodges" or small chain motels. I love the place and stay there frequently when on expeditions. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean.โ
โThe hotel is very homey and the staff make you feel as though you are family and not just a tourist. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and a pleasure to speak with. It did get quite chilly there at night, but McCloud was happy to put a space heater in our room to keep us comfortable. Ms. Machudu is a wonderful cook and the love the she puts into her dishes is noted in every bite. Highly recommend this hotel.โ
โWhat a gem. We had a quiet mid-week stay. But itโs a small space so I would think even weekends shouldnโt feel too busy. Food and service were outstanding. Some short hikes available on the property as well. โ
โWe stayed over as we were attending a wedding nearby. I only wish we were staying longer as the place was so beautiful. The rooms are absolutely stunning, well-appointed, beautifully decorated with attention to detail and lovely little extra touches. The staff are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make things run smoothly even though they were experiencing load shedding in the area. โ

โThis was a pleasant surprise to me, I have never spent a night in Soweto prior to this trip so I must say this place will now become my Soweto homebase.
