Nice comfortable hotel

Very nice comfortable hotel. Only downside the only soap is in the shower not any on the sink so when. You want to wash your hands you have to get liquid soap from shower dispenser

Far from centre and dirty around swimming pool. People smoking everywhere with little kids around including restaurant and nobody cares about. Practically there no rules .

Good option

One of the best hotels during our entire trip across Timur and Flores. We did not try breakfast due to early departure to catch a flight, but had dinner which was nice. I would definitely book again.

O quarto é espaçoso e limpo, a cama é muito confortável.O hotel tem piscina, ginásio e SPA, fiz uma massagem muito boa, apenas não gostei da cobertura da marquesa, um tecido sintético extremamente quente e desconfortável. Tem um bom pequeno almoço, variado e principalmente asiatico, pouco de europeu, mas agradável.O hotel está situado numa rua principal, a 15 min a pé do centro comercial com um Carrefour. Recomendo.

Good place for short gateway

Sylvia hotel is good place to stay i.e. for short gateway. What I like the most about this hotel are the swimming pool and breakfast menu.

Memorable Experience

This was a place I found next the office of imigrasi in kupang. This hotel was beautiful right from the start. The people were beautiful and greeted us well. The service was impeccable. Breakfast was great. But best of all was the fact that I was overseas and I rented a room there for my wife and she was treated with utmost respect and beauty and nothing else I can expect from a hotel then this. I would definitely if visiting the area stay at this place again. It's all you expect from a five star hotel with a 3-star rate. Thank you all management for a wonderful experience.

A Family Friendly Hotel.

Sylvia Hotel was conveniently located for us and the purpose of our visit, to meet a sponsored child. The Hotel was very 'up market' and completely out of place in amongst the poverty of its local people but a welcome relief after day trips into the poorest of areas. The pool was a refreshing temperature however raised/buckled decking may be a tripping hazard. Extra towels for swimming would have been appreciated. There were plenty of choices provided for breakfast, particularly if you like Asian food, unfortunately smoking is stilled allowed in the eating areas. An extra chair or longer lounge in a 3 person room would certainly have been used rather than having to sit on the beds and some drying lines in the extra large bathroom would have been very useful. If we ever go to Kupang again, I would be happy to stay at Sylvia again. It was very good value for money and the staff friendly and accommodating when we could find someone who could speak a little English.
