Beautiful surroundings, and right next to the path that leads to the monkey park. We very much enjoyed the kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast. They were happy to explain what everything was and how to eat it, since a number of the dishes were unfamiliar to us (in particular with the breakfast). The public onsen is nice, and in addition to the indoor pool, has a small but pretty outdoor area.
