Superb. I don't normally take the time to write reviews, despite regularly staying in hotels all over the world, but I felt compelled to spend a minute to say how truly impressed we were with everything at this place. You won't regret booking. Excellent all round.

I’m so glad The Gate Hotel finally opened a location in Sapporo! I always stay at this hotel chain every time I’m in Tokyo ! Excellent location about 8 minutes walk from Sapporo station via subway level and never have to go up to street level! Great winner is raining or snowing. The only negative was the construction across the street can be noisy from time to time and they work through the night on some days of the week! The entire staff was very helpful & friendly! The reception is on the 10th floor and have to switch elevator to get to our rooms! The breakfast is a bit inconsistent but never overcrowded during our 5 night stay! A huge plus was the hotel shipped two of my luggage to Tokyo’s Ryogoku location at no cost!

Located in a very convenient location close to the JR station. This is our third time booking this hotel in Sapporo since Oct. 2024.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It is a little dated compared to the last stay and has lost a charm of the boutique hotel vibe a little bit. But overall it is a nice hotel with a good location and pleasant hotel staff.

We stayed at the property for 4 nights. Everything is wonderful.
