"Beatuful property, however the staff is somewhat indifferent and lacks friendliness, especially the check in staff. We had to change our room the second day because of a strange noise waking us up the entire night, since the window was not closing properly. Also it seemed that unauthorized people can visit guests and make noise at night, even though this is a small hotel and it's very easy to monitor the visitors. The morning staff at the reception is much friendlier. The staff at the restaurant is nice and friendly. The hotel is historic, gorgeous interior and rich history behind it. "

"Room was clean and property is as very well cared for. The breakfast buffet was very good. The onsite parking was very convenient and safe, but you need a small vehicle to take advantage of it as it is a tight fitting garage. This was typical of most garages we used. Would highly recommend this hotel. For us it was an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go, 15 mins to city center and 30 or so to Alhambra, if you are in pretty good shape. Roads can be pretty steep to Alhambra."
