"Food is really and the staff is great "

"In my opinion, the food at the buffet was better than the one at the "specialty restaurants". We ate at the Mediterranean restaurant, and the portions are small, like on cruises, but I understand since it is a 3-course meal. Also at that same restaurant, I ordered a creme brulee for dessert, and what they gave me didn't look like the traditional creme brulee where you crack the caramelized sugar on top; the texture/consistency was more solid than creamy. But again, the buffet had a lot of options, and the food was good. The staff was awesome and nice. "

"All the rooms I saw in the hotel were in bad conditions, specially the bathrooms. My original room had the bathroom in such bad condition that they showed me 6 other rooms and they were in the same condition. Even in the executive foor. The bathroom looked like a public bathroom."

"Depending on which bar, the service varied. I once stood waiting 20 minutes for service with very few guests present and watched three barmen sing and dance, but I was never offered service. Even though I am 6'4", I must have been invisible. The quality of the drinks was not excellent, only acceptable. Room service was alright, but only was offered when I telephoned the reception desk, it was not automatic. The rooms were clean and modern, with a large screen TV, a well stocked refrigerator, and nice plush new towels. Every day the electicity shut off, but only for a few minutes each time. In general the staff was polite. I must mention the security guard, Jordan, who went out of his way to show me the lay out of the hotel when he saw I was lost. The service at the buffet varied. Some staff were attentive, but others need to be more observant. One day my family and I waited 50 minutes for table service, which never came, not even a glass of water. Generally, the food was good, but a bit repetative. There are two specialty restaurants. I would not return to the Asian style restaurant, but the Italian style restaurant was quite good."

"The first 24 hours we were there, we were locked out of our room 4 times with one of those lasting an hour waiting on maintenance to come let us in. We tried to explain it had to be the battery in the lock but it wasn’t until the following day they agreed. There are no elevators. We were placed on the fourth floor despite having a baby in a stroller. You cannot have soda until after lunch so you can only have juice or coffee with breakfast. Bars open at 10. Lots of pushy vendors on the beach. Overall the stay was good for the money and sake of visiting a different area. "

"It is an all-inclusive that charges for most of the amenities, food, and drinks!!! The rooms are in poor condition, the AC makes terrible noises, the bathroom didn´t drain, the night show was bad, and I couldn't sleep because of the noise in the room. The food is bad."
