They clearly had some major water damage event, which they denied. Carpets in the hallways and rooms were still damp. This was all over the first floor along the entire length of all hallways. Smell of damp everywhere. Still in renovation. Claimed that was the reason. Rooms were unfit for occupation.

The staff are very polite and courteous and the hotel is in a nice quiet area near the Mississippi River and the beautiful bluffs of Wisconsin.

Paid 200+ dollars for one night for graduation and would’ve rather slept in my car! Couldn’t shower knob was broken. Carpets ripped up, garbage cans catching water in hallways. Ceiling tiles missing. Bkft was hoho’s, cheezits, ding dongs and yogurt that wasn’t even on ice. Never again!

I would like my money back. This place was not clean at all. And it doesn’t look anything like the photos posted. We should had stayed in our car like another guest did. But we were so tired we had to nap. Plus no one was at the front desk at checkout. The bathroom shower current was stained. I can send video of the dirty hallway and the dirty sticky green carpet. I had to wear my shoes the whole time.

First time staying here. The staff was outstanding and my particular room was clean, comfortable, quiet and overall very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again and based soley on my experience, I would recommend this hotel to others.

I honestly wish I could give a 0 star rating. This place is absolutely disgusting. Where do I start…Bugs everywhere(my kids felt like there were bugs biting them within minutes…), stained mattresses, no hot water with a scum covered shower head , ac didn’t work, very outdated. The whole building stunk like mold, cigarettes, and shame. There were holes in the wall as well. There is also no elevator, so if you’re handicapped, make sure you ask for a main floor room. The pool was closed and there was no “complimentary breakfast” as listed, which honestly was probably for the better considering the conditions of the hotel. The one positive thing I can say, is the staff was friendly and they were very accommodating to my service dog.

The entire experiance was a joke. There was food left in the fridge, no garbage cans in the room, hair on the shower wall, the bathroom floor was disgusting, the pool was closed, the ice machine didn't work, the continental breakfast looked like it came out of the vending machine (Twinkies, DingDongs, Hostess Cupcakes), and the place was under construction (thank you for the nail in my tire). IT WAS A DUMP!!

THE SIZE OF THE ROOMS WERE GREAT! WASN’T EXPECTING THE JACUZZI! NOR THE LIVING ROOM! BATHROOM WAS UP TO DATE EXCEPT FOR THE TOILET!😂 IT WAS TOO LOW FOR ME AS I AM DISABLED SO NEED THEM TO BE HIGHER UP! THAT N THE ELECTRIC SOCKETS WERE QUITE LARGE N SO MY PHONE CHARGER FELL OUT OF THE SOCKET AFTER I FELL ASLEEP! PHONE WAS DEAD IN THE MORNING BUT FOUND THAT THE LAMP ON THE VERY LARGE DESK HAD SOCKETS THAT FIT! MY PH WAS CHARGED FULLY BEFORE CHECKING OUT! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS ABSOLUTELY GREAT! TOP NOTCH, IN MY BOOK! WOULD I GO THERE AGAIN? YEESSS! WOULD I RECOMMEND NORWOOD INN & SUITES TO ANYONE? SURE WILL! PRICING WAS FAIR TO BOTH CONSUMER N THE BUSINESS!! This is the old DAYS INN, they have DISH network, and only truly get 5 channels. The beds are old, the pool (indoor) is closed permanently. The desk agent left my drivers license in his copier so I had to drive back from Baraboo, WI. It’s a total failing mess! Not recommended for anyone, it’s not even worth $50. The desk agent said he wanted $5 for tax even though Expedia always pays tax as part of the upfront charge anyway, so yes, they are that janky.

This property is nothing on how it’s advertised. The room had a terrible odor to it, the tub was black and I felt very unsafe as there were people outside “smoking”. I felt so unsafe at your hotel and went a booked a different hotel for night. Never again will I book a room at your hotel.

Hotel needs remodeled and it would be exceptional.

The hotel really needs remodeled. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was by far the most comfortable bed we had slept in on our trip.
