Anse Source D’Argent, Grande Anse, Anse Cocos & Co – more colorful and stunning in life than on pictures and media – can be reached in 10 to 20 minutes by bike from the centrally located Bamboo Chalet Vert.
Our 7-day-stay in one of the newer guest houses left nothing to be desired: spacious bedroom, large bathroom, air conditioning, WiFi and private veranda, all of it clean and decorated with flowers. The complex of buildings and garden is quiet and harmonious with birds singing instead of TV, even at the bar at night. In the morning, a red fody bird might visit you for your breakfast of fresh fruit from the garden – *BANANA*, mango, papaya – along with eggs prepared any way you like it.
Selby is a wonderful host: smart, competent and obliging, with the ideal solution on hand for every request. Bamboo’s heart and soul Babette made the best fish we had on all islands, excellently spiced with ginger, bilimbi and garlic. The warmth and hospitality of Selby and all his staff made our stay at the Bamboo Chalet unique and unforgettable.
