The best thing about this property is convenience: ski school, bus stop, ski rental, ski lift etc everything around the property. The worst thing is that you arrive in a room cleaned by the previous guests. Hygiene 0. Beds as old as the property. Swimming pool is the size of 4 bath tubes.

Un bon séjour

Une semaine en famille, l’établissement est super bien situé, au pied des pistes, le club piou piou juste devant, location de ski et forfait à moins de 50 m. L’établissement est correcte mais manque un petit peu de confort, les meubles sont vieux et il n’y a pas trop de rangement. Cependant très propres, friendly dog et ça c’est génial

Appartement très bien situé et bien pour une famille mais les lits superposés en bas dans un couloir non chauffé ce n’est pas terrible et d’autres parts , les interrupteurs à l’extérieur ( Wc Sdb etc ) et à l’opposé des pièces pas terrible non plus

The size of the apartment and the fact that the bedroom had a double bed was very good. There were a few maintenance issues ie.loose bath tap and bath side.

Gut gefallen hat uns, dass man direkt in den Skilift steigen konnte und dass die Skischule auch direkt nebenan lag. Auch ein kleiner Supermarkt ist fussläufig zu erreichen. Nicht gefallen hat uns, dass Sauna und Schwimmbad keine vernünftigen Umkleidemöglichkeiten bieten.

Much too expensive!!!

Les Chalets Edelweis was now the worst experience in La Plagne. We thought to spent this time more money, to have more luxury holidays, but we got the same (or less, due to the location) for double money as in 'Front de Neige' or 'Les Hauts Bois'. The description is quiet a fake. The pool is in reality less then half as it seems in the photo, only one shower for the whole pool area, the sauna/hamam is only parttime and ordered working, dressing room is the entrance floor, etc. Wifi is against fee and working badly (in the hotel description is listed wifi and at the end of the description mentioned that it costs extra). The appartment was not clean, when we arrived - the management compensated that we could the first evening not use the kitchen offering the parking for free (compensated part of the dinner this night). Summarizing: We will not come back, there are much cheaper and better appartments and hotels in La Plagne.

Concernant l'appartement : nous avions 3 chaises pour la table du salon, pour 4 adultes + 2 chaises plus basses. Pas idéal. La poignée de la porte du congélateur a lâché pendant notre séjour, nous avons dû nous acquitter d'une facture pour la faire remplacer. Nous payons ainsi les frais d'un matériel qui était déjà défaillant. Sinon rien à redire tout est propre et neuf et conforme à la description. Concernant les prestations : nous avons réservé ce week-end notamment pour avoir l'accès à la piscine (il fait chaud en été), mais il n'est nulle part indiqué qu'elle est fermé le samedi ! Gros mécontentement de ce côté-là. Faire payer le WiFi de nos jours, c'est assez incompréhensible.

Week in Summer Edelweiss

Lovely relaxing week. Staff very friendly. Not speaking any French we did struggle to find the chalet and check in but that's our problem as we were in France. Room was comfortable kitchen a little small to cook in but we managed. Excellent walks and spa facilities very relaxing.

Très bonne résidence. Notre 3 pièces était dans un très bon état et nous avons pu l'obtenir le samedi midi. La résidence est calme et la piscine intéressante. Évitez juste d'y aller après 18h, c'est là où il y a le plus de monde. La station (Plagne 1800) est excentrée et donc peu animée en été mais les navettes gratuites disponibles au pied de la résidence nous ont permis de passer un très bon séjour.

Very good value.

Much bigger apartment than we were expecting from reading previous reviews. It was clean and well maintained. Booked the apartment for 5-6 people, for 4 of us. Had 2 separate rooms and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was very well equipped. The apartment was very well heated - too well - it was boiling hot overnight, even though the radiators weren't on! We knew reception closed at 8pm and were delayed on our transfer from the airport so we rang the hotel and it was no problem at all, they just opened our apartment and left the keys there for us. The pool was nice and the steam room very good. You get one free go in the steam room or sauna and then charge you 8 euros a session after that. We paid for one extra but found a lot of other people came in at the same time even though they hadn't booked so didn't pay for anymore sessions. Our key to the locker in the basement didn't work, so we kept our skis and boots on the balcony, and when we told the staff they told us it did work and that we must have tried the wrong door. We tried it again and it still didn't work so we just gave up. The lift was not working, which wasn't really a problem for us because we were on the first floor but for those on the second floor and people with children it would have been annoying, We spoke to a lady who was staying there and she said she came a year ago and it was broken then as well. The sign on the lift door says they are waiting to get it fixed, but this seems like they haven't bothered to.
