"Great little hotel in a small mountain town. Owner does not speak a lot of English but we were able to communicate with him with no problems. He is also super nice and friendly. Room is small but not cramped...keep in mind the building is hundreds of years old!! Hotel is hard to find because you can only see the restaurant from the main street. Bets thing to do is go through the restaurant and find the owner to get directions to the parking lot for the hotel."
"We have stayed in enough Best Western hotels in Europe now that we have joined their rewards program. Rather than being cookie cutter hotels, we have found many fascinating, unique historic properties.
This was the actual mansion where my ancestors met with, and likely spent nights with le Marquis de Baume!
Our room was spacious, and the front desk was quickly responsive when we thought a light fixture was broken. They cheerfully offered to move us, but we decided to stay to enjoy the nice...
"The staff was absolutely amazing throughout our stay! They provided a smooth check-in, including detailed information about nearby sites & restaurants…including a map in English! Pretty much everything is within easy walking distance.
They had luggage storage for us so we could see some last things before our midday train departure…the train station was less than a 5 minute walk. We would love to stay here again."
"My family stayed here for one night and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel and rooms are freshly refurbished, the air conditioning, wifi, and elevator worked well. There is still a minor aroma of paint smell on the first floor, hence we suggest booking a room on the second floor. Overall, it was a great experience."
