“Family that runs it is fantastic! Rooms are clean and comfortable with a view worth it alone! Quiet and the landscaping is beautiful! The restaurant is a must, I run a beef ranch and the ribeye was definitely one of the top 3 I’ve ever eaten! Will recommend and will be staying here again!”

“We flew in to San Jose around 12pm. We headed out of town towards La Fortuna. I thought this would get us out of the city and close to our first day of activities. The area was quiet. The room was very clean. We speak very little Spanish and the staff spoke very little English. However we were able to communicate to get what we needed. The hotel is one block from the Main Street. “The location and how the cabins were made. Seeing the volcano from the windows was a very relaxing experience. The birds, the flowers, the sloth on the trail made us feel so close to nature. The room was beautiful, so peaceful and secluded with an amazing view (and toucans in the tree opposite!) and the pool area is equally stunning. Restaurant is also lovely (although not cheap) and all the staff are so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel one of my favourite places I've ever stayed!”
