Very convenient to the interstate, right next to an exit. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Well-insulated and heating/ac unit worked really well, so temp was comfortable and could not hear traffic noise from freeway, making for a good night’s sleep. Owner was friendly and professional. Minor cosmetic flaws in room repair work which in no way affected our stay. Reasonably priced. A true hidden gem.

Facility was run down and in dire need of a facility upgrade. Especially the bath room. No towels or bath mat. Entrance door lock was broken. Had to have an employee open the door for me each time I left and returned. Very noisy because of close proximity to I-75. Staff was great, and the bed was good. The facility was just run down and worn out. Not as advertised by Expedia.

Hello John, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry about the towel and the lose screw on the lock. I was training a new housekeeper ( not using it as an excuse) and I should have caught it. In terms of the rundown comment, let me respectfully disagree. The room was renovated in 2021. We need some work on the parking lot which is in progress. As for the highway noise, we are limited on our options. Thank you for the positive comments about the staff and the bed etc.

Yelling in the parking lot at 430 am. Appears to be a common stop for workers. Fair price but a bit run down and very noisy.

Hello Katrina: Thank you for the feedback. Sorry about the noise at 4: 30 am. It is a rare incident in my 17 year history of managing the Jasmine Garden Inn. As for the comment about the run down appearance, let me respectfully disagree. We do need some work on the parking lot which is in progress.

I was looking for a in-expensive place to stay for one night. This hotel fit the bill. My room was a little dated, but the bed was clean and comfortable. It allowed me a shower in the morning and that was all i was looking for. For under $60 it was worth it. Freeway noise was noticeable but i got used to it.

Hello Paul: Thank you for staying with us and providing this feedback. It is how we can improve. A agree with you about the highway noise. We get about 3-5 % of guests reporting it as bothersome. We started offering ear plugs.

I liked the fact that it was affordable. I was very impressed with my room!! It was very clean, beautiful furnishings, I have no complaints. I would definitely come back here again and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. This place was great!!

Hidden Treasure
The owner greeted us and was very helpful when one additional child decided to stay with us. The downstairs rooms are remodeled and surprisingly sound proof. (Rooms face I75 on our side) the city road leading to the Inn needs to be paved. Over all my kids only complaint was a rust stain on the tub. The water pressure was amazing and we will stay here again. Good value, lowest rate I have found in Lake City.

Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. the room was extremely clean with a amazon jacuzzi tub that made my night very relaxing, which help me sleep like a baby. Thank You Jasmine Garden Inn and GOD bless you.

Pleasant little local place. Older motel so not everything is perfect but they are renovating as they can. sits in an out of the way spot behind the medical center. we felt safe enough to go out for a walk,hang out side, do our laundry in the simple facilities. Others were doing so too.

Could be better
While it was a convenient and affordable, the bed was very uncomfortable and the shower was terrible. The tub was stained and the water was rusty when I turned it on.

We do have a monthly pest control contract with Orkin, and that is usually sufficient to control bugs, but it is possible that someone prior to your stay had introduced them to that room. Booked my stay in May for one night in November. When I arrived, the venue seemed a bit unsafe due to the surroundings, and the office was not staffed despite it being during office hours. My fiancé and I felt that it would be unsafe to stay at this location at that point in time. I could not request a refund because it was the day of my reservation (it was a stop on our way back home), and we drove all the way to Quincy, FL that evening to stay at a hotel we have previously used.

Dear Nicholas,There is a manager onsite 24 hours a day at our Lodge. Sometimes we step away from the office to attend to a room request. We have a door-bell and carry the house phone whenever we leave the office, though. So if you had actually tried to check-in that day your experience might have been better. Cordially,Management

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The manager was very nice and friendly and made us feel welcome. However, the entire hotel was in a rundown condition. When trying to open the door of our room from the inside, the door frame came loose and had to be pushed back ino place. Looked like this was not the first time it had happened. The room had an odor and the bed linen was oldand even the bath towels were of different colors. We liked the manager very much but i would not choose to teturn to this hotel.

We were traveling and booked online. When we arrived at 8:15 p.m. the office had a closed sign on the door saying they'd be back at 6 a.m. No one answered the doorbell when we rang. We were forced to find other accommodations.

We stayed here as just a pit stop on our way to Orlando. The property is older, but very clean. The owners are extremely nice! I've never had more personal service at a hotel. I was greeted by name when I first walked in, as well as in the morning when I went to check out. Very happy with our stay, even though it was a very short one.
