"We stayed here for 3 nights and walked in and out of Ambleside which was about 2.5km each way. There were running/walking trails straight out of the property. The house that the B & B is in is spectacular. The morning breakfast that is provided is far and away the best included breakfast we have ever had anywhere."

Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! "Very cute lodging. This is a resort with individual cabins. Ours was right by a huge lake, tranquil and teeming with swans and waterfowl. A friendly swan greeted us when we parked. Parking was very easy and right in front of our cabin, providing very easy access for our bags. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The little cabins were well stocked and clean, with heaters to protect from the cold/rain/wind. Love it and would 100% recommend. So cozy and nice."
