"We had 4 rooms (2 queen beds each) for our family to stay in for 7 nights. It is noted that we paid $10 per adult/per night if we had more than 2 adults per room. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Rooms are large and clean. We had pool view on 3rd floor which was nice. Air conditioning worked well (it was 90-100F outside). Parking is free and there is plenty of spaces to choose from. Pool and hot tub are large, well kept and beautiful. We enjoyed swimming and sitting around the pool area together. Free breakfast is the best I’ve ever seen. Full buffet of waffles makers, danish, English muffins, cut up and whole fresh fruit, yogurt, instant oatmeal and made to order omelette, fried or scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage. Alex made the best omelettes and he and his staff were very kind and courteous. Waffles were flavorful and better than most hotel batters. Social hour was free Monday through Thursday from 5-7pm. Amazing!!! We had a variety of snacks depending on the night; ranging from veges, cheese/crackers, tortilla chips and fresh salsa, pizza, pretzels. Always had Woodbridge wine options (Chardonnay, Pinot, Merlo & Cabernet Sauvignon), beer (Bud & Bud Light) and a variety of canned soda. Donna was an exceptional hostess whether she was working the front desk or at social hour. We would not hesitate to stay here again!!! This location is a beautiful area surrounded by upscale neighborhoods and close proximity to shopping, restaurants and Laguna beach."

"The regular rooms were great. However the presidential suite was very hot. AC was not effective and we all sweltered in there (my daughter had it for her bridal getting ready suite). Hotel itself was beautiful and historic. Recommend staying. But please get the AC working in the suites."

"I had a truly marvelous weekend at Montage Laguna Beach. From the moment I arrived, everything was exceptional; the beautiful grounds, immaculate property, wonderful staff, and outstanding restaurants. The entire resort has a feeling of elegance and tranquility that makes it very easy to relax and enjoy every moment. One of the highlights was dinner at Studio. The meal was amazing, but what made the evening especially memorable was the setting. Sitting there at sunset with an unobstructed view of the sun going down over the Pacific was absolutely spectacular. It was one of those experiences that stays with you. The Montage is a truly special resort, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional Southern California getaway. I had a wonderful stay and very much look forward to returning."
