"Great opportunity to step back in time at this rustic 1920s lodge in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mtns. Tons of character, lots of areas to hang out and play games, peruse their library, and settle in with a book on their fabulous front porch. Quiet location, 20 minutes away from the charming towns of Sylva and Waynesville, NC. Lodging includes free breakfast, a satisfying southern buffet—waffles, cheesy grits, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, etc. Staff is friendly. Service is “relaxed.”"

"The staff is amazing! The location is wonderful, right across the street from the casino. It’s a nice, small lodge that feels much more relaxed than the hustle and bustle of the casino. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet, and overall it was a very comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The room could have been a little cleaner. Also the don’t give you a run down of things when you check in so you don’t know how a lot of things work. Like they don’t tell you that you have to scan your room key on the elevator to get to where you are trying to go. Overall a good stay. Will definitely return and ask for a more up to date clean room. And will also ask for a tour guide of the hotel and amenities"

"The lobby is great, a small shop for your needs that you may have left behind. There is games, books, and puzzels in a room off from the lobby that overlook a koi pond. The rooms were clean and the screen in porch overlooking the river was spectacular. There is a indoor heated pool. The beds and pillows were very comfy"
